ALYCE HATCH CENTER APPOINTS LINDA BRENDING TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BEND, Ore, March 2, 2004 -- Ann Elkin, president of the board of directors of the Alyce Hatch Center, Inc., announced today that Linda Brending has joined their board.
“We are excited to have Linda join the Alyce Hatch board of directors. Her enthusiasm, broad organizational skills and fundraising experience will be a valuable addition to our current board members,” said Elkin. “I firmly believe in the mission of the Alyce Hatch Center and the programs that are offered to young children with developmental delays or disabilities,” noted Brending. “By joining the Alyce Hatch board, I will be able to help in the community and work with an organization that has been close to my heart for many years.”
Brending, a Grants Pass native, has lived in Bend for nearly nine years. She has spent the past six years working at Orcom and Avenir Systems as a utility software specialist. Prior to joining Orcom, Brending spent more than 18 years at Pacificorp.
The Alyce Hatch Center, which is located at 1406 NW Juniper St. in Bend, is a regional resource for young, disabled children and their families. Services provided at the center are designed to address the special education and therapeutic needs of children from birth to five years of age. The Alyce Hatch Center has been assisting children with special needs and their families since 1975. |
