ALYCE HATCH CENTER APPOINTS JULIE STILL TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BEND, Ore, Dec 6, 2004 -- Ann Elkin, president of the board of directors of the Alyce Hatch Center, Inc., announced today that Julie Still has joined their board.
“We are excited to have Julie join the Alyce Hatch board of directors. Her enthusiasm, marketing, event planning and PR skills will be a valuable addition to our current board members,” said Elkin. “I am proud and honored to be a part of the Alyce Hatch Center board and the programs that are offered at the center to young children with developmental delays or disabilities,” noted Still. “By joining the Alyce Hatch board, I will be able to support the Alyce Hatch Center beliefs and philosophy for their mission in Bend.”
Still has lived in Bend for nearly twenty years and has done volunteer work in the past with Crisis Pregnancy Center, Boys and Girls Club, Big Sisters, Grandma's House and COBRA. Julie has spent the past eight years working at NorthStar Center in Bend as the admissions director. Julie is a graduate of Oregon State University with a BA in communications.
The Alyce Hatch Center, which is located at 1406 NW Juniper St. in Bend, is a regional resource for young, disabled children and their families. Services provided at the center are designed to address the special education and therapeutic needs of children from birth to five years of age. The Alyce Hatch Center has been assisting children with special needs and their families since 1975. |
