Local Internet Toy Company Donates a T.C. Timber Train Table/Set
BEND, Ore, January 26, 2004 -- Ann Elkin, president of the board of directors of the Alyce Hatch Center, Inc., announced today that the Center recently was the recipient of a T.C. Timber wood train set, village and table donated by a Bend Internet toy company, allwoodtoys.com.
“I want to thank Tex and Barbara Dunlap of allwoodtoys.com for their donation,” said Elkin. “The children will be thrilled.” Jayel Hayden, Director of Early Childhood Programs at the Alyce Hatch Center, accepted the donation. Kitty Peterson, an Early Childhood Special Education teacher at the Center said, “The kids just love the train set. It will not only be enjoyed by the kids in Discovery Island, but we will be rotating it through 3 or 4 other classrooms! What a generous gift.”
Bend-based allwoodtoys.com is an Internet company that specializes in quality wood toys for children. “We are happy to donate this quality wood train table and set to Alyce Hatch Center. It’s our way of spreading the joy of wood toys,” said Tex Dunlap, allwoodtoys.com owner. “T.C. Timber, which makes the set, provides quality wood toys and blocks for children birth to eight years old. I am sure that the children at the center will get many hours of enjoyment from the train set.”
